The restaurant at Calagrana is set in one of the two restored stone farm builds that date back to the late 19th century. It seats an intimate 30 people.
In the restaurant, Chef Alberto offers the traditional Umbrian cuisine enhanced by his many years as a top Chef in London. Though the personal touch is prominent, he is sure to offer many forgotten local dishes that cover a hundred years of local cuisine. Alberto’s love of cooking began in the kitchen with his Mother; he then began his training at 14 and upon completion he journeyed on to work in Paris, Germany and some of the top restaurants in London.
The restaurant offers a warm and simple setting with features from the original structure. Ely ensures that it offers a wonderful environment with a relaxed and pleasurable ambience in which to dine and spend long pleasant evenings. It has two terraces for summer dining that offer views of the Valley below. It has become the key meeting point for our guests, where you can come together and taste the wine and delicacies of the region, or simply mingle over a cool glass of Prosecco or an Aperol Spritz.
The views, ambience and cuisine offer a wonderful setting to spend the long summer evenings.
